Tassinaia is a blend of Cabernet and Merlot in almost equal proportions. It is named after the farm on one of the hills called "Le Tassinaie," which translates to "the place of stones." After 16 months of aging in French oak barrels, the varieties are blended and allowed to age in the bottle for at least 12 months before being released for sale. The two green lines on the label represent the green fields in spring.
